The General Assembly of the Centre for Protestant Studies Gáspár Károli held its annual general meeting on May 5, 2024 in the Károli Library’s reading room. The meeting was chaired by the Centre’s president Mrs. Izabella Szűcs Kószó. 

Following the approval of its previous meeting’s minutes, the General Assembly adopted the 2023 annual activities reports submitted by the Károli Library and the Centre’s Programme Council. 

The Károli Library committee member Mrs. Mónika Birkás informed the GA on the library’s electronic bibliographic database formation progress, as well as about the library’s planned activities in the upcoming period. The current library collection includes a total of approx. 15,000 units. 

The Second International Károli Forum organisational committee presented the current status of conference preparations, the number of participants, the Forum’s planned agenda, and various other issues regarding the conference scheduled for June 8, 2024. 

At the end, the General Assembly adopted amendments to the Research Centre’s Internal Regulations, enabling the GA for nominating an additional Centre statutory representative. Following the resolution, the GA elected Centre’s research fellow Mr. Csaba Szűcs as its supplementary statutory representative.
