The Programme Council is the academic unit of the Centre for Protestant Studies Gáspar Károli, encompassing all of its research fellows. 

The Programme Council, among other things, defines the overall programme of the Centre’s research activities and establishes various working groups for its implementation. Further, the Council approves Centre associates’ research projects, analyses and assesses the Centre’s overall academic work, decides on its conferences, seminars and other conventions, gives its opinion on research fellow candidates, nominates and discharges Centre’s research associates, outlines the concept of the Centre’s scientific journal as well as nominates its board and various committee members, etc. 

The Programme Council is chaired by its President.
